precious . . .

Just recently, since working with the elderly I've come to realize that live is so precious & fragile. As physios, we try to maintain & hopefully improve, ever so slightly, these individuals quality of life. But I figured that as we get older, age seriously catches up on us & when it does taking a step forward most of the time at the end of the day they also go backwards, like two steps. And for some that extra step backwards means being 6feet under. Wat a downer!? For others, it just means we have to work a little more to make a come back. Hummm...

A moment's insight is sometimes worth a life's experiences.

Life is indeed precious . . . forget about: Living fast & dying young! I reckon a better motto would be: Live with a purpose & die knowing you've achieved it. Live expecting & die satisfied. Live worthy of a cause & die respected. Live responsibly & die dignified.

People forget how fast you did a job - but they remember how well you did it.

Cause at the end of the day, we want to use that beautiful set of China dishes & not leave it for a better occassion to be used. It's like asking how long is a piece of string! We never know when a better occasion is nor do we know where the end is. True! True! So basically, life in itself is a celebration, a party to be had each & everyday day, a day of thanks & praise to a God who has given us another day to live & breathe.

We should all be concerned about the future because we will have to spend the rest of our lives there.

Sounds like a sad post, but really it should be an eye-opener, so that we can do the things we need, we want, we should do before our time here is over.

What is important is not where you come from but where you are going to.
