It’s been almost a week since I’ve been back & loads have happening since than, let's get you all up to speed . . .
Christmas day, we had our open day. There was alot of people with spurs of intermittent breaks. Was a great day . . . my bro & I got to visit 2 or was it 3 frenz/family that day too. The next day we also got a few people coming to the house for a Christmas visit. Which was alrite cos there wasn't too many & they were mainly family.
The next day we celebrated my birthday, this was a family & close family friend dinner. It was an awesome day! The company, the laughs, the food, the atmosphere . . . I had a ball of a time. The best bit was the drive down to the restaurant, what a drive that was, fun-filled laughter. Plus a LONG drive down & back but hilarious!
The next day, I invited more family & frenz over to the place for drinks & some food (tit bits). Thanks to dad, mum & my bro for making it all happen. I had an awesome time & judging by what time most of the guest left, they had a fantastic time too. Some actually stayed till about 5 in the morning. Ridiculous!
Overall the highlight of the whole evening is & always will be the company we keep. I had loads of fun that night - making drinks for most, trying a couple of interesting ones, joking around, laughing, chatting, catching up, and playing Mahjong & Big 2.
Like last night, for the New Year’s Eve party had a pot bless with family & frenz over then after the countdown, we hugged, kissed & exchanged well wishes to each other. So after that some of us left for a ‘School dress up party’, where we dressed up in our “old” school uniform. Well I had to improvise for the dress up cos I couldn’t find my old uniform. But mum had the skirt material so we just wrapped the cloth round my waist, pinned it up and secured it with a belt. Hehehe! That party was another amusing, enjoyable & entertaining New Year’s party. *thumbs up* to the organizers.
And today to start off the New Year, we had a very pleasurable time at the beach with, yes again, family & friends. Speeding down a set up course on powerful jet skis. I think I'm going to be sore tomorrow from holding onto the handle bars so that I don't slide off the jet ski. With the excellent weather, masking the sun I'm sure I'm a little burnt . . . sore face! Some of us got to play touch rugby, played sand with the nieces & nephrews as well as the 'donut'. Hooray! So much fun . . .
So 2005 I had a great time - farewell. Well 2006 here I come; even if I’m ready or not you’re here so give me your best challenges & opportunities!
