So we got to the place & sat down at the table, got our menus. Ordered our drinks & then after a little while longer we ordered our mains. I decided to have their T-Bone Steak, medium to rare served with salad & chips topped with mushroom sauce . . . hummm! **mouth washing** Mum got the Salt & Pepper Calamari, Aunty Agnes & her sis, Steph shared a Pumpkin Rositto, my bro & Uncle Peter got the Chicken Burger & my dad ordered the Chicken Creaser Salad.
While we waited for our meals, we tried our hand on they quiz, which was on the blackboard. The quiz involves forming a 4 or more letters word out of 9 letters & the ultimate aim was to figure out the 9 letter word.
These where the letters & each word had to include the letter M!
E N T
I M A
E R T
I M A
E R T
Then suddenly a girl on the table directly in front of our table dropped on the floor & started to go into an epileptic seizure. I didn't know what happened, until everyone on my table looked down on the floor, then I stood up & saw the girl twitching & jerking from side to side. Standing there for a while, my whole family told me to help her.
So I walked quickly to her & asked the staff if they had some to prevent her from biting her tongue . . . I was lost for words here. Had no idea what to call that object, which my brother told me later on the way to the car that it was called tongue depressors. But I finally said a wooden spoon or something, which was as good as anything.
So while waiting for something wooden & one of the staff to call the ambulance, got her in to the recovery position and assured her & her boyfriend.
Then a hand full of popsicle sticks came but she had stopped convulsing, so I just checked if she was still breathing & conscious. Phew! She was, so we waited for the ambos to come along keeping her companied. When they arrived, she was able to stand up & sit on a chair close by. I was totally relieved that the ambos could take over.
So I returned to my seat & dinner was ready. Hehehe . . . found out that they holded our meals cause they didn't know whether to bring it out or not. But ya, it's all good, one of the staff even came up to me to thank me . . . while I was trying to operate on my cow. Hehehe!
Who knew my first aid skills who come in handy in a restuarant. Well thank God everything when well. He was the One in total control of the situation for sure. Pray that the girl is fine & recovering as well as her boyfriend.
